Help me choose the best telescope in the list.?

I need your help deciding which model telescope for a beginner to semi. 1. Mount Equatorial Meade scope Reflctor F = 910 D = 114 (Meade 114EQ-AST) or 2: Mounting the azimuth, range Galileo reflector F = 1100 D = 102 (Galileo FS-102DX2) I'm looking for the best overall multi-purpose use and those are my two options. Thanks!

If I totally had to choose between the two, I get the Meade. Here why. 1. The Meade has more openness, to 114 mm instead of 102 mm. This is not a huge difference, but bigger is bigger and corrector plate in the reflector Galileo probably has nothing to minimize the light being reflected from it. 2. The Meade has an equatorial mount. Although this particulay assembly is basically a "Mickey Mouse treatment and can not do any astrophotography appriciable should put you motor units in it, if you can put the motor units that you still be able to get a few timed increases (but rather short) exposures. In fact, if you presistant could be quite satisfied with what you get considering the computer you are using. In my honest opinion favorable, since you are a beginner and semi-seem to know enough to look around before buying, if I were you I would save about $ 100 most used and find a Meade or Celestron 8 "Schmidt Cassegrain. Many of the old Orange tubes cost $ 400 - $ Areas 500 and are versatile enough opening to actually see things and make great settings astrophotography.
