Astrophotographers?
I'm working through Two Telescopes; a 3.5" Maksutov- Cassegrain, and a 10" Schmidt- Cassegrain. Both are being used for astrophotography (though the 10" is my deep- sky choice).
I use a Canon 350D DSLR coupled at prime focus, and often times go to eyepiece projection for planetary photos.
I have two quick questions:
1) Is there a commercially available 'bright screen' for my model of camera?
2) For deep- sky imaging, do you find that a Hartmann Mask is useful for imaging 'dim fuzzies'?
Any useful answers would be greatly appreciated, as I'm having a rather difficult time obtaining a crisp focus when shooting deep- sky objects through my DSLR.

I'm new to the field as well, but I thought the Hartmann Mask was only for focussing. If used for imaging, it would stop down the aperture, making longer exposures necessary. That's my understanding, anyway.
